CARRIAGE TERMS
We aim to deliver all main land UK orders within 3-5 working days.
Delivery charge is noted at checkout, for orders over £100 delivery will be made free of charge.
Depending on quantities goods may be required to be dispatched on a pallet.
Next working day delivery is available where stated and the option then offered via checkout. This is for selected items only, delivery information will state this.
Deliveries to Northern Ireland, the Highlands and Islands and AB postcodes will take longer to arrive and may not arrive within 3-5 working days.
For deliveries of full pallets, or multiples thereof, you will be asked to confirm vehicle access & offloading capablility at checkout. Confirmation means that your site can be accessed by articulated vehicles and that you have a fork lift truck available to offload the goods.
Caxton House Ltd cannot be held responsible for any issues resulting from verbal telephone orders that have not been put in writing.
Caxton House Ltd cannot be held responsible for problems or delays that occur as a result of the courier service.
For education and local authority orders placed via purchase order; We reserve the right to apply applicable carriage charges if omitted from the submitted purchase order.
DAMAGES
If the delivery arrives and looks & sounds fine, you have until 5pm the following working day to report any damages.
If the delivery arrives and it is damaged you need to sign for it as damaged and notify us, along with photographic evidence of packaging of the damaged products within 48 hours.
EXPORT
Please contact our sales office for a quotation.
Please note goods may be sent to you in installments depending on availability. There is no additional charge for orders delivered in several consignments.
Please note that when shipping products internationally, you should be aware that cross-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by Customs authorities.
We shall have no liability to you for any delay in the delivery of products ordered or any other matters to the extent that the delay is due to any event outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, flood, fire, labour disputes, strikes, lock-outs, riots, civil commotion, malicious damage, explosion, Government actions and any other similar events.
Caxton House Ltd cannot be held responsible for problems or delays that occur as a result of the courier service.
MINIMUM ORDER
Products must be bought in their pack quantities, as listed. Where items are sold in pack quantities, these will not be separated.
SAMPLES
Due to the cost of preparing and dispatching samples we reserve the right to make a charge to cover the costs involved. You will be notified of these prior to the charge being made if applicable.
PAYMENT TERMS
All new business will be strictly on a Proforma basis, paid via our website checkout facility.
For account holders payment terms are strictly 30 days net from date of invoice.
Public sector organisations can place an order via an offiical purchase order.
We reserve the right not to process orders if an account is outside our terms.
We reserve the right to charge interest at 2.5% per calendar month on any accounts remaining unpaid beyond the 30 days credit period.
RETENTION OF TITLE AND RISK
The ownership of goods supplied, the subject of an order, shall not pass to the customer until payment has been received in full by Caxton House Ltd, although the risk passes to the purchaser at time of delivery.
RETURNS
Goods shall not be returned without prior written authorisation from Caxton House Ltd. We ask you to email us within 48 Hours of receiving your order. From there we will instruct you as to the next step. All agreed returns must be sent to our warehouse or the warehouse instructed. To qualify for credit, all returned goods must be adequately packed and protected, still in their original shrink-wrap and in a re-saleable condition. Return transport charges will not be refunded. We charge a 20% Restocking Fee.
Photographic evidence is required to support any damage claim.
PLEASE NOTE THAT IF YOU ORDER A BESPOKE PRODUCT THEY ARE STRICTLY NON-RETURNABLE AND NON-REFUNDABLE. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS SO PLEASE CHOOSE CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU COMMIT TO PURCHASE.
OUT OF STOCK ITEMS
In the unlikely event that the product requested is out of stock, Caxton House Ltd reserves the right to supply a similar product to that selected in both colour and specification.
PART SHIPMENT
Every effort is made to send a complete order, however we reserve the right to make part shipments due to external factors beyond our control.
WEBSITE ORDERS
Caxton House Ltd does not accept liability for errors and omissions within its websites and reserve the right to change information, prices, specifications and descriptions of listed goods, products and services at any time.
Caxton House Ltd does not guarantee any product's fitness for a particular purpose. All items are listed on an 'as is' basis.
PRIVACY POLICY
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information you provide us lawfully, in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
We promise not to sell or pass on your data to any partner companies or third parties.

PAYMENTS
Caxton House Ltd secure on-line payment facility is provided by Paypal (www.paypal .com). You will enter the secure payment gateway to handle all aspects of your payment transaction before entering your credit/debit card details.
Paypal’s servers use SSL techniques to encrypt all card details in transit between your computer and the server. Thereafter card information is held only on their highly secure servers and we do not have nor need to have access to it.
As such your card details will not be passed to Caxton House Ltd but only processed confidentially and securely for the current transaction.
IP ADDRESSES & COOKIES
We may collect information about your computer, including where available your IP address, operating system and browser type, for system administration and to report aggregate information to our advertisers. This is statistical data about our users' browsing actions and patterns, and does not identify any individual.
For the same reason, we may obtain information about your general internet usage by using a 'cookie' file which is stored on the hard drive of your computer. Cookies contain information that is transferred to your computer's hard drive. They help us to improve our site and to deliver a better and more personalised service. They enable us:
